Jayan), who offers him his first role. He plays the lead alongside Tara (Parvathy), an established actress and a diva of her times. Soon it is learned that Tara, forced by her father Vishwan (Maniyanpilla Raju), is engaged to producer David Eapen (Ganesh Venkatraman). Trapped in a relationship she does not want and the expectations of her profession, Tara struggles with life and reality. Jay walks in as a breath of fresh air and Tara thinks he is her ticket to a new life. They try to elope but their ill-fated relationship does not have a fairytale ending. 20 years later, Jay embarks on a journey to tell his story.
